As a teacher and coach, John Wooden is someone I look up to. His love for education, discipline, and hard work is an inspiration. As I have spent the last eight years coaching and teaching, I have seen sports change young people’s lives. From the main motivation to stay in school, scholarships to play in college, lifelong relationships, and career opportunities.

 

I have my bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and my master’s in education. I have over ten years of coaching and working in education. I love what sports, health, and fitness can do for the scholars at Manzanita. I am very blessed to get to teach them every day and help them grow to be the best person they can be.
