MALIA MONDRAGON
Psychologist
Hello,
My name is Malia Mondragon. I was born and raised in Lompoc and attended Lompoc High School where I was a cheerleader and competitive dancer. I am proud to serve my community as a school psychologist and board certified behavior analyst at Manzanita Public Charter School. I love the field so much that I am an active board member of the Central Coast Association of School Psychologists as President Elect. I strive to bring forth my best effort and best practices in education every day for my scholars and colleagues. This is my fourth school year at Manzanita as a school psychologist. Before then, I worked in the Santa Ynez Valley for a total of nine years as a school psychologist intern, behavior interventionist, and special education instructional assistant. I quickly fell in love with helping students realize their potential and removing barriers to that process.
I have three rambunctious boys (two of whom attend Manzanita!) and a wonderful husband of 10 years. I have a gigantic extended family (mostly still in Lompoc) whom I adore and spend time with often. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, hanging out with family and friends, and visiting new places.
