Hello! My name is Kim Hurd and I am the Teacher on Special Assignment at Manzanita Charter. I grew up in Lompoc, have worked at Manzanita since 2013 in various roles, and love our school and local community. I am passionate about teaching and learning, and enjoy reading, dancing, sports, health and fitness, and spending time with my family. I value the special place Manzanita has grown to be and I look forward to engaging with the families, scholars, and staff this year to elevate it even further.
